The Bedford Hotel in the heart of Brussels was the venue for the 2nd FECMA Pan European Credit Management Congress, bringing together credit professionals from all across Europe to debate, discuss and network. Continuing the theme of “European Best Practice – Inspiration for Credit Managers” provided an ideal platform for an exchange of ideas and experience, together with a wide range of example of developments in the field of the credit profession across Europe. Delegates enjoyed presentations not just from their peers, but also from service providers who play such a vital role in ensuring that the profession remains equipped to face all the challenges that lie ahead.
One of the most important aspects of any conference is the opportunity for all those who attend to be able to network in a friendly and constructive environment, and Brussels was able to fulfil that role. As in 2013 in Budapest, the range of expert speakers was designed to provoke thought as well as inform and educate, and from the positive feedback, it was clear that the desire of FECMA to replicate the success of Budapest, 2013 had been achieved.
